Enhancements
- Page Builder - We have added the new formatting options to properties to use in Page Builder applications. You can define a default formatting on Date, Date time, Time, Number, Decimal, and Price properties. The default given format can be overwritten in the context of every Page Component, to give you maximum flexibility. Read more about it in this special post.
- Page Builder - The Icon Component now has an option to hide the Icon Badge if the value is equal to zero.
- Page Builder - Receive feedback in the Page Builder IDE on compile-time when entities are missing. You can easily jump to the Component(s) that were causing the issue. This improves the quality of your application. Read more about it in this special post.
- Page Builder - Add security (header) options to your Page Builder applications, by using the options known in My Betty Blocks. You are now able to secure your Page Builder Applications with the Xframe, CSP, and CORS options.
- Page Builder - Use multiple Authentication Profiles in the same Page Builder Application. One Page can still only have one Authentication Profile, but you can now use different Profiles over multiple Pages in the same Application.
- Page Builder - Always show the horizontal scrollbar at the bottom of the Component tree window.
- Page Builder - The Data Table and - List Components do now have an extra option to differentiate the number of records or tiles shown in design time and runtime. Meaning you can have a Data List that shows 100 tiles in runtime, but only 3 in the IDE while working on the Component. This improves the performance and UX while working on the Page.
- Page Builder - Hovering over Components in the Component tree now also highlights these Components on your canvas making it so much easier to find them.
- My Betty Blocks - There is a new “all Application templates” page released, with a paginated view and option to search through all the Application templates.
- My Betty Blocks - Live preview option of all Application templates, so you can preview the template first before you are creating a new Application based on it.
Fixes
- Page Builder - We fixed a bug where deleting a Variable or a Property was not resolved correctly in the context where it was used.
- My Betty Blocks - We fixed a 500 error when fetching an Application template with an ID that does not exist.
- DataModel IDE - The new Relation button from the IDE opened the new Property window in the iFrame. This is fixed now.
Announcements
- We have to leave a feature behind.. In the old IDE, the Betty Blocks platform supports a feature called “Online Users”. This feature will be deprecated from the platform within a month from now (exact shutdown date will be communicated later), because of security reasons and a not aligned feature vision in the new IDE (yet). Please contact Support or your Customer Success Manager for further information on this topic.
