Product changes

Over the last month, we have been working on improvements to the platform. In this blog post, you can see a simple list of what has been changed, updated, and/or what bugs have been fixed. Read more about the release notes of last month.

New features & improvements

Pages

• Reordering feature for items in Reconfigure modal, read more
• Supporting Theme fonts in Application templates, read more
• Referencing to a name of properties in the Page builder. 
  Previously, the property selectors in the Page builder were only meant to reference to the ‘value’ of a property. Now, we also allow you to select a reference to the ‘name’ of a property in order to handle name changes of the property dynamically (without changing static texts). Read the updated documentation for more information.
• We updated the password input field in the page builder. Password fields do not have any default value set and the password field in the form submit is ignored when the end-user did not change the password field value.

Actions

• Generate PDF step has been upgraded with the latest version
• Liquid step has been released to the block store. Use LiquidJS (includes a custom groupBy filter) to render template strings
• When working in next-gen actions, your browsertab will show the action name you’re working on

Data

• Encrypted configurations: With this, the user is able to hide and encrypt sensitive data in their configurations such as: Api-keys and passwords.
• Data sources: In the next steps to improve the data sources, we made it possible to save configurations in your block store block, to release and unrelease the block and to delete the configuration trait from your block. Soon we will release the functionality to enable builders to install the block from the block store as well.

Fixes

• List properties were not always showing the correct values on the right-hand side within the filter options.
• In some cases, the variable browser on the right-hand side of the filter option did refetch the filter row completely.
• Creating a Theme Block in the Theme builder sometimes randomly failed.
• A page was refreshed when you (de)select a model in a model select component option.
• In some cases, the Add Tab component option on the Tabs component led to an error. 

Data

• Removed the old Backoffice CRUD columns from the roles and permissions overview
• Moved the allow import and allow mass delete of model settings to sidebar

Actions

• File upload on an app with duplicate allowed origins crashes asset store
• Fetching actions (paginated) in the actions compiler (50+)
