Here at Betty Blocks HQ, we’re constantly working on ways to make application development easier and faster. And we’re now on the verge of our next great leap towards this goal, with the upcoming release of our new Page Builder.
The Page Builder allows you to configure pre-existing components to build custom interfaces. Starting with a palette, you can drag all kinds of components to your canvas. Don’t worry, you’ll have more than enough options to customize. For the more advanced developers, we even offer a tool to create your very components from scratch
The new Page Builder is set for launch in March 2020, but we’re just too excited to keep it a secret any longer. Sign up to our platform demo on January 20 and get a sneak peek at what we’re working on.
The Page Builder will benefit citizen developers and professional developers alike. Here’s a taster of what to expect in our introductory webinar:
Introducing the wizard for citizen developers
We’re working on the inclusion of a Page Builder wizard, which aims to make your role as a citizen developer even easier.
When adding new modules to a page, the wizard will guide you by offering suggestions and best practices for that feature.
Custom-styled components for professional developers
As a professional developer, the new Page Builder enables you to apply brand, style, color, and personalization to UI modules. This means button color, font, size, image filters, and so on, need only be created once. When citizen developers use modules within the Page Builder, your organization’s branding is already applied.
Improved branching system for professional developers
The improved branching system is a safeguarding measure. It will allow multiple developers to work on the same modules simultaneously, with the most correct change ultimately overwriting all others.
We’re also working on a Block Store update and performance increases.
Be sure to sign up for our webinar now and see what else we’ve got in store for you with the new Page Builder!
