Betty Blocks connects with integration services company JNet to help Governments in the Netherlands digitally transform internal processes.

PRESS RELEASE: The Netherlands – 19 April 2018 - Betty Blocks, the leading no-code application development platform, today announced a new partnership with integration and security solutions provider JNet. The partnership came out of a deal to optimize digital services for governments in the Netherlands. Betty Blocks will provide Dutch governments with the platform to realize new ideas and innovate while JNet offers multiple integration and data options, specific to the government standard. Currently, 130 Dutch government organizations use JNets services to seamlessly connect systems in their existing digital infrastructure.

Betty Blocks and JNet came together while working on a project for the Municipality of Zaanstad. The city government was seeking a solution to better manage youth care services among an association of 14 regional municipalities. They built the application with developers from QNH using the Betty Blocks’ platform and JNet implemented the data services with their existing infrastructure. Through this collaboration, the municipality could seamlessly build a solution while also making a step in their digital transformation.

“Personally, I was impressed with the speed of developing you could accomplish using Betty Blocks,” JNet Product Manager Karl de Boer said. “The Municipality of Zaanstad was already a customer of ours. They knew we could handle the job. By being flexible with integration services and a flexible application development platform, everything was accomplished in a few sprints. The system was developed with effective results.”

The partnership was established strategically to make a more permanent offer in this particular market. As shown with the customer case of the City of Zaanstad, JNet and Betty Blocks are able to provide the full service of software development and implementation. From addressing an area to improve to building a flexible solution, this is made possible with Betty Blocks’ no-code platform and a set of developers. Then comes the need to integrate the application within the system that the governments are based on. JNet translates the input and output of Betty Blocks to the requirements of the government standard and provides logistics to them. With this partnership, all governments in the Netherlands can reach new innovation.
