We have just released a major performance improvement that significantly improves working with pages in the Page Builder!
We have changed the way that we store the options that you can configure on your components in the Page Builder. This results in performance improvements in the following cases and it is most noticeable in large pages:
- Creating a new page based on a page template
- Loading an existing page in design mode
- Duplicating pages
- Disbanding a partial into components
- Merging your changes in the sandbox manager
Next to these performance improvements we also released the following points to production:
- Adding a data table to your canvas will now by default inherit the formatting of your selected property, and you are able to change formatting on the property option
- The open page component now also allows you to link to external pages
- You can now search for pages in the page selector option
Note: We’ve first released only on the public cloud (NL3) as this has the most busy cluster other clusters will follow this week during the planned releases. You can check if your application is on this zone in My Betty Blocks. The other work has been released to all zones.
