We are thrilled to announce a new initiative aimed at improving the way to innovate and scale. To fully empower citizen development we need to be more than just a building platform. Launching an application involves more than just constructing it, and based on this insight, we've identified ideation as a crucial step in the innovation life cycle. Typically serving as both the starting point and culmination of an initiative, ideation is where we have chosen to kick off our journey!
Introducing: The App Gallery!
Using the app gallery is intended as the starting and ending of your innovation life cycle. Get inspired by solutions built by your co-workers or get inspired by ideas that have not yet been fully developed. Having a clear inventory of ideas and built solutions prevents starting the same solution twice and can possibly trigger cooperation between colleagues that are having similar struggles/ideas. This should ultimately result in the following benefits:
- Faster Innovation and Scaling: Initiate the building of new applications, fostering a culture of innovation.
- Inspiration for Creativity: Provides a constant source of inspiration for innovators, offering a wide range of app ideas to spark creativity.
- Efficient App Sharing: Seamlessly share applications with other branches or firms, promoting collaboration and knowledge exchange while also boosting adoption and expansion.
How to start using it
On our newly added company overview we’ve added an additional tab where an app gallery can be created for the company. Once the gallery is created content can be added to it and managed by anyone in the company that has the permission. We’ve added multiple tools that can help you showcase your idea or solution and make it easy to find once the volume increases. For a detailed explanation how to manage your gallery please read the following documentation.
This should ultimately result in your company's app gallery page that can be shared internally being behind a login. Or you can choose to make it public and share it with everyone, here is an example of what that can look like!

What are the next steps
We believe in the vision of adding more tooling to support the innovation life cycle as the best way of adding value for our customers, so we intend to do just that. We aim to add more tooling that supports the ideation process by:
- Submitting & promoting ideas
- Gathering requirements
- Validate use cases
But also tooling on the other end of the life cycle to make reporting of the value/ROI of the created application so that this data can be added to your app gallery again!
