Heya! We know, it's been a while since you last heard from us. We haven't been sitting still and made a lot of changes to the platform, but we've been focussing more on sharing our updates through webinars.

To make it up to you, here's an overview of some of our most recent changes, available to you right now:

Pages

  • When dragging a new DataTable component onto the canvas, the new wizard makes it even faster to setup all the data on your component.
  • The Dialog component now contains the interactions by default for clicking on the 'x' or 'cancel' button.
  • Aligned the create new page flow with the create flow of the actions and models, so that you can specify the title on creation.
  • The visibility option is now more clear and components that are invisible are shown within the component tree via the eye icon.
  • We have added a new component, the Snackbar component. To temporarily show messages to your users.
  • We changed the image component to media component and it now also supports videos and iframes.

Actions

  • You can now create new Actions directly from the Action selector in the new Sub-Action steps.
  • The Action’s output variable in now mutable from the new IDE.
  • The Variable browser in the Actions IDE now support a jump back option. This is very helpful when clicking-through your available Variables.
  • The assignable rows in the Create and Update step now support ‘Allowed types’ mapping. This means that you can map a Text value on a Text based property only.
  • You can update and save the Loop step options from the new IDE. You don’t need the iFrame anymore to achieve this.
  • The Action’s canvas supports scrolling with your trackpad or scroll wheel. This improves the speed of navigating through your canvas.
  • We improved the error handling in using Actions in the context of the Page Builder. Previously you got: “Request failed with status code X”and now you will receive a more described error message with proper status codes. It allows you to fix certain problems even faster as a Builder.

What do you think about that? Pretty cool stuff, right!
Try it out for yourself and let us know what you think.
